The forest is inhabited by many small organisms, many of which we usually do not notice. Termites, for example, are among them. Although some of species are considered pests, they also play an important role in the functioning of forest ecosystems.
Traces of their activity can be seen on fallen trees, whose wood they feed on. The patterns left by worker termites resemble messages from their civilization to ours - an attempt to establish a dialogue with humanity, while we continue to live cut off from nature and ignore other species.
